Bridesmaid dresses...Check!

Ok, so today I did a class called "Just Weights" that thoroughly kicked my butt. I decided it's just what I need to help get me down to a good size for the wedding. After the intense work out, me and my sis got sushi (((and Coldstone, sorry!))) and while we were eating I was going down the list of things I needed to do for the wedding. The bridesmaid dress came up again. I have been so frustrated with this! There's too many things to consider so my sister asked me to just decide which one I really liked. I went with the one that most of my girls chose as their number 1 favorite in the first set of "trying on". It is a perfect length, and even has 2 colors (which was one of the things I really wanted). All in all, I am happy with the choice..and my girls who hate pink won't have to worry anymore! lol! Tomorrow I am going to the place I got my dress (Sugar Drop) and hopefully find out what else needs to be done so we can get the ball rolling. Now hopefully I can get a meeting with the tent people for next week, get those Save the Dates out and then be on my way to a relaxing vacation to Disney World! :-)

Falling Behind...

Sooooo...it's been a while since I updated, so here it goes!

I am falling behind! I am 2 weeks overdue with the Save the Dates that were all supposed to be delivered by now. :-/

I WAS going to get a cake by a lady that lives in West TN who does amazing cakes and even better prices...but when I met with her about doing my wedding cake, her prices jumped way out of my budget. It was a sad sad day. Now I am in search of a cake. Ok, that is a lie. I am not actually searching.

Here is what I SHOULD be doing:

* Deciding on a bridesmaid dress

* Getting the tent situation settled

* Sending out Save the Dates and finalizing the guest list

* Working on flowers (which I actually did this past weekend and even got help..thanks Jordan!)

I'm sure the list is longer, but those are the things I KNOW I need to do, but just haven't done. blah!

Save-the-dates

So this weekend was awesomely amazing. Not only did I get to go to Knoxville and finallllly see Britt and Jordan, I finished my last final, we went out and celebrated, AND they helped me do my Save-The-Dates!! They shouldn't have been so good because now I am going to bug them to help me with more and more things! hahahahahaha!

So, I picked my favorite picture that Streetlight Republic took (below) and Laurie (the awesome wife of the duo), changed the color to black and white and added text.

So while the pictures were being created, I researched sticky magnets and ended up buying mine from Adhesive Magnets. My plan was to buy 4x6 adhesive magnets, and then print out 4x6 pictures (2 pictures per page), and stick the pictures to the magnets and cut them down the middle. This is exactly what I did. I got lucky and found a deal at walgreens (4x6 prints for 10 cents each!). Then everything came with me to Knoxville to put it all together!

Britt was awesome at lining up the photos to stick them to the paper...

After Britt stuck the picture, I would trim the edges and pass it to Jordan. She did a great job at separating the pictures. (You had to cut 2 lines to get a clean cut)..

On Saturday night we even got an extra hand (Britt and Jordan's friend from grad school, Tatum), who prepped the magnets for Britt so all she had to do was stick! Everything was done by Sunday and now all I have left to do is print out address labels, stuff envelopes and send! :-)
